A couple old snapshots of trays of food on the USS CARR. It looks worse than what it was, I just took the pictures after I already childishly ran through my meal. The ship usually has a balanced meal available. Sometimes they have brand name snacks available, which was a treat. Dangerous to eat them often though. Of course. Well, I think my diet changed lately, since I'm eating at home more. I've been losing my habit of eating meats. Let's see how that works out. So far, I'm not missing it too much. Thanks to my wife. She has really given us a new perspective on our diets. :) Thanks honey.
I'm a lucky husband! You know why? Besides being loved by a wonderful woman, she does such a wonderful job cooking, I thought I'd share a little about her good work with the world. I also love to collect her food. It provides me a history of all the sweet and memorable dishes she has put her heart into for the family. I also like to put places that interest me, mostly places in Virginia right now. There are also pictures of food, from other sources. I've been adding different items.

Ruth's Chris Steak House
Went to Ruth's Chris a couple weeks ago... it was actually pretty nice... well in my opinion. :)
It was the one in Virginia Beach. The service was nice and the ambiance was delightful.
If you happen to get a chance to enjoy that, please do. Oh, it's in the town center, Pembroke area.

Breakfast for Husband
I love being home for morning meals. My sweetheart always makes fresh, healthy meals. Either, for to-go or just enjoying them at home.
I love the old fashioned Fire King cups she collects. It sort of makes the meals sort of nostalgic. :)
The sandwiches she makes are so delicious. Fresh avocado... hmmmmm.
