I'm a lucky husband! You know why? Besides being loved by a wonderful woman, she does such a wonderful job cooking, I thought I'd share a little about her good work with the world. I also love to collect her food. It provides me a history of all the sweet and memorable dishes she has put her heart into for the family. I also like to put places that interest me, mostly places in Virginia right now. There are also pictures of food, from other sources. I've been adding different items.

Yogurt, Hot peppers, grilled pork, vegetables
I loved this meal. It ended with a delicious berry sauce covering a nice European yogurt. She made the sauce from a batch of berries that were not that great raw... so she boiled them up for a yogurt sauce. Creative huh? . :) I loved it.
The rice dish (with all the vegetables) was something she made to make me feel better. It was good, not salty or oily at all. It was thing right thing i needed. :)
The tea is called Mugicha. I enjoy it all the time. She makes it really nice and puts it in a pitcher to be served. I like it cold or hot.

Pork, Shrimp, Tempura, Somen Noodles, Soba Noodles
Here are some dishes I like to eat. She does a lovely job at deep frying vegetables and shrimp. The pork sticks are from port belly; so good. The noodles below, Somen noodles (white) and soba noodles (wheat color) are really good too.
Cold Soba Noodles are great when it's hot out. Japan can get really hot and humid, so these work well in the summer weather. :)
